For Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto, the ultra-creative duo behind the Studiopepe agency, it all began in 2006 at Milan’s most...
We don’t know which way to turn. Creative activities, yoga, off the wall gardening, party for children: the Tchou Tchou Festival put up a smokescreen on the conventional thoughts by adressing to both children and parents. This recreational event looks like a first and happened on August 27th and 28th around hand-picked choice partners. On the one hand, there was Grand Train, the desirable Parisian place, a former SNCF warehouse, transformed into a place where to stimulate your senses. On the second hand, there is the Norwegian brand . They have a unique design philosophy, centred around the connexion between parents and children. Its chair became a worlwide bestseller. They were choice allies that have in common the awakening and the early-learning as a tutor for education and that advocate what innovates and what is different. It must be said that, there, the child is at the same level as his parents. Together, they test, try out and have a go at playful and family activities. Eva-mebel.xyz is taken with the dance lesson at the foot of the giant Tripp Trapp (dedicated to the adults) in the heart of the station-dancefloor. It makes you fall back into childhood just for a moment. It is a unique and original experience as we like them, that puts the spotlight on the contemporary families. By the way, it is by going and meeting them that we realised that theTchou Tchou festival was more than an event, but that it was also a laboratory for trends. The evolution of the child is its governing principle.
Three words to describe the Tripp Trapp chair?
It is beautiful, design, and convertible. It is comfy as well!
Do you think this chair plays a role in the awakening of your child?
Yes. I think that this chair puts the child at the same level as his parents during the lunch times, and during any activity. It enables a connection between them! Generally speaking, I’d say it helps to develop his curiosity.
How do you initiate Alessia to the taste?
Very soon, since she was 6 months old, we made her taste everything we ate !
Is taste an important sense for your family?
Generally speaking, Alessia is more interested in what is in our plates than in what is in front of her! So yes, it can be said that we gave her interest for this sense, which is so important to us.
Do you have a restaurant to recommend us?
We live in Dublin and the restaurant Powerscourt enjoy our favours! There is a lot of choice and, above all, it is very practical to get into the restaurant with the pushchairs.

Which activity left a mark on you?
It is an activity where my daughter could make her own cloth bag. She even embroidered her name on it.
Have you ever tried the giant Tripp Trapp?
Yes, and it is comfortable! As much as the children’s one I guess.
Do you have an anecdote about a travel in train?
We were in France, I don’t remember where we were going, but we were quite laden down with luggage. We did not have the time to put everything on the train that it started up without warning. We were in it and half of our luggage were still on the platform.
What are your best family holidays?
I am not very objective, but I would say in Europe. I have a little penchant for Italy! Cities like Amsterdam and Brussels are also very pleasant to visit. There are a lot of things to do with children.
